Leadership & Organizational Development
Through this coursework, I was able to identify myself with Servant Leadership and examine transformational and adaptive leadership as well. Specifically, I asked the question, "How can administrative teams utilize servant leadership practices to reduce teacher turnover in a low-income elementary school setting?" Through my research, I found empathy, awareness, and commitment to be three large components of a successful leader. Applying those fundamental traits is something I carry with my today in my role as Dean.

Technology and Leadership
Technology is a key component in education today. As a leader, it is incredibly important and necessary to manage relationships among technology, teaching and learning. One must know their audience, know their formatting, and understand how to convey key points through a screen. It was with this project that I was able to compile a presentation and examine my work as an educator to interview for my current position in administration as Dean of Upper Elementary.
